Specialized SAT/ACT Prep
Eleventh grade is the most challenging for almost everyone, but for kids who are prone to be anxious or have learning needs that get accommodations, preparing for the SAT or ACT can be overwhelming for both students and their loved ones. Parents want to do whatever they can to help their high schooler to have many options in choosing a college while also tending to their emotional needs. In my experience, these students need individualized study strategies and emotional support that most traditional test prep tutors are not trained to provide.
I work with students who have accommodations in all content areas while simultaneously addressing their emotional concerns as they arise. I have chosen to work exclusively with students who get accommodations because there are so many wonderful test prep tutors for more traditional learners but very few who specialize in students who get accommodations and every student deserves the best preparation as they take a test that, unfortunately, most universities rely on to determine admission.
